About
My name is Hervé Marcy, I am a solution architect for Red Hat, located in Munich (Germany). My particular focuses are complex IT infrastructures based on RHEL and RHEV (Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization).
This blog represents my opinion only and not Red Hat’s !
I graduated as Diplom-Informatiker (German degree) and a Maitrise (French degree) from the French- German institute of applied sciences and economy (ISFATES) in October 2007.
I also successfully passed the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administrator (RHCVA) -verification code 120-037-569- , the Citrix certification for XenServer Entrerprise v4 in June of 2008, the HP ExpertOne “Planning and Design of HP Integrity Server Solutions”, as well as the HP ExpertOne “Planning and Design of Superdome 2 Server Solutions” certification in 2011.
As far as time permits, I contribute to the Fedora Project by translating it from English to French.
In this blog, I want to write about things that interest me such as technology and computer science, Linux, my job, open-source and free software, business, the evolution of the European Union, the relationship between France and Germany (both countries I know pretty well), and so on…
